We were in a non-smoking room but hallways were very smoky. Hair dryer did not work, charged us for a safe and phone, which they said was standard practice. Asked 3 times to have safe unlocked so we could use it, and NO ONE ever showed up to unlock the safe. Stayed there over Labor Day weekend and we still have not received a credit. No parking on site. Parking is a block away with no security for vehicles. Not very clean either. Would rather pay a few $$ more and stay somewhere else. Would NEVER stay here again.

Hotel needs to be updated. There were no safey handrails for the elder to hold onto, the tub was small thenpoolmview was a joke, it was poolside from your window facing the hallway everyone passes to get to their room. You have to keep your drapes closed .because you have no privacy. No terraces, except oceanview. Like I said the hotel was okay.

I am not sure if we just got lucky after seeing the other reviews or not. But we, a family of 4 with 2 small children, had a wonderful stay here! The room was wonderful, the beds were actually very comfortable and clean, and compared to other places we checked in the Va Beach area the pool was by far the cleanest! We were located on the first floor which was a wonderful perk! Compared to some of the other prices I was quoted of $*+ (which some had trash actually floating in the pool!!) I was very, very pleased. When we had a question the staff was extremely helpful and right there! Will stay there again for sure!

Our room was in poor condition with dirty carpets, broken bathroom door and shower rod and ants in the bathtub. Room smelled bad. Sheets on one of the beds were full of sand. We received no maid service for the three days we booked the room..had to go ask for towels each day! We were disturbed by loud, intoxicated partiers late at night. One passed out in the hallway. We called the security guard, twice before he finally showed up to do anything about it! Along with our children, we had to listen to foul language by these drunk people at 2 am and lose sleep! The elevator was in poor shape and the floor cracked everytime you stepped inside. We expected a much nicer room than we received..the pictures and descriptions did not match what we experienced. This room and hotel situation pretty much ruined our vacation...
