We stayed for a week with friends in a two bedroom unit. We enjoyed fabulous views, a beautiful room, very gracious and friendly staff. The service poolside and in the restaurants was exceptional. Villa del Arco had a relaxed pace, not overly crowded, I believe it has fewer units than many of the beach front hotels, so getting a lounge by the pool is easier and less crowded. You can walk to town or take a taxi for $*US. We ate at the La Perla restaurant at the hotel. Food was excellent but it is more expensive than many of the in-town restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place great rooms cordial staff. Restaurant prices are high but quality is very good. Helps to know some Spanish but they are very accommodating. True its a timeshare and they are there to sell but take a couple of hours get the Gold Card and then have fun. The Gold Card can be used off site also for discounts!! Cabo is a 7 cab ride. Try Brasils restaurant The Crazy Lobster and LaCasa for good fair priced food. Dont miss El Squid Roe for the tourist schtick. Do your shopping when cruise ships arent in town for better bargaining power.

Just got back from Cabo. Our week-long stay at Villa del Archo was amazing. The pictures on this site dont do it justice. I dont know why anyone would rate this less than excellent in every category. The resort looks very new. It is close enough to town that you dont have to take cab you can walk there in about 10 minutes. I felt very safe on the property and in town. We didnt go all inclusive however we ate most of our meals there. The food was outstanding. I especially liked El Farro which had the best fried rice and spring rolls ever. We ate there two nights in a row and if we had discovered it earlier in the trip I know we would have gone there again. The staff were so polite. The pools were clean and beautiful. Warning: the margaritas served poolside are strong:#* We are planning to return and next time we are taking our teenagers with us. This resort had a more mature crowd than some of the nearby resorts. If you are looking for latenight parties loud music etc this place wont be for you. If you want a relaxing family-friendly place this is for you.

Resort was lovely. Staff was helpful and friendly and took great pride. Food and drink prices a bit high but WalMart was a short bus ride away, so we were able to stock our kitchen. Perfect distance to town.

The Hotel is very nice and the Desert Spa is the best we have ever seen including the best of Las Vegas. The room I booked was to be a two bedroom 3 bath upper floor with a Ocean View. They do not promise a ocean view but I was told on two phone calls to the resort I would be put on a prefered list for a view room. Upon arrival I went through a hour and a half battle with the check in people and was told all they had was a garden view and that is what I requested. WELL after getting mad and screwed around I did get a form of ocean view---with a 1bedroom connected to a studio. I will not go back to the Villa Arco again...................I don't like to fight over a room that I am paying about $*u.s.dollars a day to enjoy.
