- Spring Break Policy: All spring break reservations during March and April will be asked for a deposit. Guests may be required to deposit 100 per person/per stay upon check in. This deposit will be refunded in full on the basis that no damages have been made to the resort. This hotel is closed for renovation and should reopen in December 2010

Lacks a lot

Took over an hour to make a reservation there in person and since it was only 2 and we didn't want to pay the extra 15 per person charge to check in 1 hour early we came back. Then it took us another hour to get 2 of our 6 rooms. At 8:30 we still didn't have our rooms. We were given 2 rooms that were completely made up yet. The food was so-so and 3 people got sick after we left the hotel. The pool looks great-if you like having only half the tiles on the pool to be there. The beach was beautiful but the bar at the beach didn't have alcohol and there was never any food at the restaurant. Had to get our key cards reactiviated twice and we were only there 20 hours. Check out was a nightmare--it took over 1/2 hour and we would still be there if I hadn't taken the key and almost threw them at the reservation clerk that was ignoring us (but not too busy to keep answering the phone). Certainly not staying there again!! Poor Wyndham this hotel is a shame to the name.

My fiancee and I really enjoyed this resort. It was a 2 day romantic getaway and had a blast. The food was ok, had a lot of variety of different foods. The pool was amazing, and staff were really friendly. We would recommend this resort to anyone.

It's a 3 Stars hotel. With that said, with the exception of the weekend crowd, it's a nice atmosphere. The nightly shows are very entertaining and the variety was impressive. The hotel should do a better job in controlling the crowds and making sure the facility stays in order! Will not return to this hotel again.

when we arrived at the hotel, our reservation was not found. that should have been our first clue to run! the room was outdated, no dressor, smelly, safe did not work, floors and mirrors were always wet due to humidity! Television did not work, toilet broke and my husband had to fix it, tub filled with water when one showered! Our room key deactivated itself twice a day! Staff was rude and indifferent about our complaints! Food was horrible! Same thing every day. Very little tourist, mostly locals that were rude and obnoxious. The beach was a three block walk from your room. The pool was small and always crowded! The jacuzzi was filled with cold water! Staff constantly asking for donations. The beach area was nice but forget about resting, the local vendors are like pirahnas waiting to attack you to sell you whatever! No activities for teenagers! Entertainment staff has good dancers but every night you see the same dances just different music! No American music was played-mostly merengue/bachata. Wyndham should be embarassed of this location. The whole area needs to be rebuilt! We would never return there nor will we recommend this place to anyone.
