- Special check in instructions: Guests must use the main entrance of the Ilikai Hotel to access the Waikiki Marina Resort registration office, located in Suite 212 on the second floor, above the main lobby.

This hotel is a part of quotIllikai Hotel.quot Many of cab and shuttle drivers dont know the name quotWaikiki Marina Resort.quot It was little difficult to find the check in office #40you cant check in at the main check in counter in the hotel lobby.#41 Service was great. The hotel staffs were friendly with professional attitude. Room/Bed was clean and confortable Hotel building itself is little old though... The room has full kitchen and equipments were fully functional. Overall rating: quotvery confortable stay and good value for the price.quot Ill probably choose this hotel again next time stay in Waikiki area.

The Hotel was great. The building itself is a time-share that a certain number of rooms are available as hotel rooms, so the check-in process is a little different. The staff was very accommodating and provided everything we needed. On our last day, they held our luggage and provided a location to shower after spending our final hours on the beach. The accommodations, were terrific for the money. You are not getting all the bells and whistles of the main hotels, and the decor is slightly outdated, but that did not take away from our experience at all. The room was nice with full kitchenette and nice balcony overlooking the city. The room did not have a bathtub, only a shower. If the pool is important, its not as nice as others on the strip. As for location, The hotel is right next to Hilton Hawaiian village. The hotel it is just off the beach, next to the marina. It's a bit of a walk to the nicer sections of Waikiki beach and the main strip, but not bad at all. Also, being on the end of the strip, we did not spend a lot of time on buses picking up passengers at other hotels (we were often the last picked up and first dropped off and rarely had more than a couple stops). We fell in love with Hawaii and will definitely be back. We will have no reservations staying at the Ilikai again. :) Important Note: The actual name of the Hotel is the Ilikai. Waikiki Marina Resort is a company that rents the rooms (since the building itself is actually a time share). The driver from the airport took us to the wrong hotel -- one that had "marina resort" in its name.

The Hotel(condominium) was in a great location,Food was in walking distance , from McDonald's across street to several better grade restaurant's. Valet Parking was $*. per day and due to convenience worth it Personel were excellent. It was nice to walk the local area and set on the deck and watch the sunrise and the sunset with the Lagoon , Beach and Marina in your view

Our stay at the resort was everything we wanted. It was spacious and we loved sitting on the lanai and enjoying the city/mtn views. We enjoyed the music concert on the veranda and the fireworks on the beach at the Hilton next door. The room was clean. The only thing we didn't like was that Registration is located on the second floor and not convenient. Our air conditioner went out while we were gone one day and when we called, the maintenance crew had gone for the day. The desk offered us another room on a lower floor, but when I looked at it, we decided to stay in our room on the sixteenth floor. It was cool and we just opened the sliding doors to the lanai. When we got back to our room after breakfast the next morning, the a/c was fixed. I thought it was a little too expensive even after my military discount. There are cheaper places to stay.

Loved staying with the folks at Waikiki Marina Resort. It felt like home. Kurt, Sean and Mikey were all very curtious, professional and helpful. The room was in outstanding shape. Very clean and like brand new. Just like the pictures on the web site! Location was fantastic. Just inside Waikiki but not too far in to get stuck in all of the traffic conjestion Waikiki always has! Close to Pearl Harbor as well. Price for all of this was phenominal!!!! I have to say i have never had such great service at any hotel. Funny story: The second day we were there the refridgerator seemed a liitle warm. I called the desk and told them about the problem. They were there, at my door, with in three to five minutes to solve the problem. They came in, determined the fridge wasn't working properly and started to empty it. I asked "what are you doing?" They had a REPLACEMENT fridge out in the hallway for me!!! This was a FULL SIZE fridge!!! LOL Not only did they replace it, they provided us with cold water and soda for the inconvience! WOW!!! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Hawaii was perfect and that we didn't have to wait for the problme to be solved. Also, Thatnks so much for the use of the shower in your workout room. We didn't fly out until 7 PM, so they offered a key and then shower to freshen up before our flight home! You guys have my 100% recommendation and I will tell the masses about you. Sincerely, Kim Getz
