The 3 bed-room unit that we reserved and stayed in was very spacious and well appointed. The Grand Champions Villas at Wailea has beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed getting up early and having breakfast on the lanai overlooking the adjacent golf course with the mountain, Haleakala in the background. We also appreciated the many ""little things"" such as free high speed Internet and assigned parking just outside our condo unit. But the kicker is the friendly and accomodating people on Destination resorts & the Grand Champion Villas. They where very pleasant yet professional at both check-in and check-out. The staff behind the scenes answered questions we had when we called and even allowed us to do both an early check-in on arrival day and a late check-out on departure. All these things added up to a great stay and a high recommended property. Oh, before I forget, we loved the great deal that Travelocity got us. Mahalo to the folks at Travelocity too! Hope to make our way back soon...

The condo we stayed in needed to be updated pretty badly. Evrything in it was older than I am. This was our Honeymoon and we expected somehting a lot nicer for what we paid. When we asked to be moved, the management company for the condo wanted to charge us an additional night and a fee to upgrade as they claimed they did not have any more similar condos available.
