This place is excellent for the price and location. One or two blocks from the closest subway depending on which line you need to take. Two blocks from the north end of Times Square and within easy walking distance of every major theater on Broadway. More restaurants than days in a year within walking distance along 9th Avenue. You don't want to pick this hotel if you plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel room because the rooms are extremely tiny. Ours was about 180 sqft, most of which was consumed by the queen size bed. However, it is all you need to rest your head at night. Everything looks newly renovated with stone tile bathrooms, flat screen television mounted on the wall, and luxurious bedding. My only complaints would be the lack of a mini-fridge and lack of an individual thermostat. I realize that most buildings in NYC have no central air conditioning and have building maintained heating. However, when you have to open your window at night because you can't control the radiator in your room at a hotel, that should be fixed. Mini-fridges are another thing that a lot of hotels don't normally have, but they are nice if you have left over food from dinners out. All in all, you can't beat this hotel. We paid $* a night for this superb midtown location and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Purpose of trip was for a funeral. i found the location perfect. the room was clean. I did request a change of room. (To close to elevator) I stayed in hotel for 4 nights. Night before check out I requested a wake-up call, had to be in Newark by 830 am... I did not recieve a wake up call. Person at front desk denies I called downstairs. To make a long story short. On site manager was also a prick about the situation. did not assist in calling a cab. missed flight by ten minutes.

I like this hotel , Rooms are small but that's New York for you. The front desk always helpful but it seems this was just a job for them not smiling at all and the walls are or very tin so you could hear the people speaking in the hallway mostly the cleaning people. I will stay at the hotel again because it's near to everything and very clean.
