aside the other reviews i was very pleased with the motel. the lady who checked us in was very polite and helpful. we were even able to check in early. we had housekeeping services everyday which was a plus. i would recommend this motel as a place to stay and its close to many convenient places

Rooms recently re-done (carpet, paint, tile) and the bedding was new but the furniture was trash. Dirtiest upholstered desk chair I have ever seen in my life!! Beds comfortable but the room had a stale smoke smell. The bathroom was tiny and the tile floor was sticky/dirty. At night the bugs were attracted to the light over the door so when we returned, the bugs entered the room with us. For internet we connected to Wendy's across the street as it was a stronger signal than what the motel had. No ice machine! The phone was from an old Holiday Inn with that info rather than the address or phone of the Western Thrifty. In the morning no one was in the office and the "24 hour phone contact" didn't answer. We departed at 7:45am still finding no employee around. We stayed 2 nts and didn't get maid service. Fortunately we returned early enough in the evening to ask for clean towels. The guy working at night was very attentive and eager/quick to help. Trash pickup was 5:45am Tuesday morning and LOUD! It's a one star and we will not ever return.
