We've been thru Palm Springs many times but never stayed. This time we decided to spend 3 nights there for our 47th anniversary. The Villas at the Westin were great. Clean, spacious and very well equipped. Large bedroom, bath and living room with a nice kitchen and dining area as well. We were on the second floor and had a nice balcony with table and chairs overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds. Even with the $* per day parking fee, it would be hard to beat the price in any conventional hotel room. If you go, book as soon as possible. We booked almost a year in advance and the rate went up significantly a few months before.

I stayed at the Westin Mission Hills Villas when traveling on business for a few days and had a great stay! As my appointments were all over the Valley, Rancho Mirage was convenient central location for me. After a long day of meetings, it was nice to return to the calm atmosphere of the resort and the spacious comfortable rooms. These rooms are much bigger than the average hotel room and have many more amenities such as kitchenettes, washer and dryer, jacuzzi tubs, and large balconies. The first day in Rancho Mirage I made a trip to the local supermarket and picked up some food and drinks, since there is a full kitchen in the rooms I was able to make my own breakfast every day. Another nice amenity were the fireplaces in both the living room AND the bedroom. In the evening it was comfortable to turn on the fireplace, relax, and read a book. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was not entirely familar with the Rancho Mirage area, however the Concierge directed me to some great restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Palm Springs.

Pleasant Stay

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay when traveling on business in Palm Springs. The location is central to other parts of the Valley, but most of all the resort is very comfortable and relaxing to return to after a long day of appointments. The Villas have full kitchens, living room, bedroom and a large bathroom, plus washer and dryer. This is very convenient for a longer stay like I recently had, as I was able to wash my clothes and make some of my own meals. The rooms seem very up to date and all the the amenities are top notch. After a long day, it was nice to turn on the fireplace (there is one if the living room AND bedroom) and read a book or watch TV, it was very cozy. I did order room service a few times and was impressed with the food and the service. I recommend the cheeseburger and the apple tart, both are delicious. The staff was very polite and friendly. The resort itself is very spacious and tranquil. There is a path that runs throughout the resort, through the golf course which is great for a morning jog. The sunrises in the desert are very impressive. I definitely recommend this resort for a relaxing stay for any occasion.

We were thrilled to be able to stay at this wonderufl facility. They gave us the option upon arriival as to where we wanted to be situatied and we chose the pool right near the lobby, which was very convenient and central. My only complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable, with the 1 bedroom villa we only had a queen bed and a queen hide a bed. Other than that, I would even consider buying a time share there!
