This hotel was clean and the room was well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends. Did not get to try the breakfast. Had to leave too early in the am. The price was right.

The room had a damp musty smell and feel to it. The light fixtures must've been upgraded not too long ago but most of them were crooked. The bathroom didn't vent well at all, steam from the shower stayed in the air and on the mirror for a long time. After sleeping in the bed both nights I woke up unable to breathe through my nose. There must have been dust mites or something in the bedding. I've never had that problem before so it had to have been something fairly serious. It was not the most pleasurable experience I've had. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for us to stay on our way to Myrtle Beach! It was very clean and new. Our room was very roomy for our family of 5. We were thrilled with the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning which was perfect to get us back on the road fast! Gas station close by too! I'm definitly staying here again next year! We've never stayed at a Wingate, usually a Marriott hotel, so I wasn't sure how they compared and I thought it was great!

From checking in to checking out, everything was excellent. Checked in on New Year's Eve and the young man at the front desk was very professional and immediately got us taken care of. The room was great! Nice furniture, beds were comfortable, flat screen TV, clean bathroom, free wi-fi connection, cordless phone, etc. When I hear that a continental breakfast will be served I think of muffins, bagels, juice, some cereal and maybe fruit. This place had biscuits and gravy, not 1 but 2 waffle makers, poached eggs, along with all of the other previously mentioned food that you would expect for a continental breakfast. There was plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your food as well. The seating was as spacious as a restaurant and there was a flat screen TV so you could get your morning news as you ate. The area the hotel is in is great also. You have everything you need in close proximity to the hotel. There is a Target across the street and lots of restaurants that are close by. All in all we had a great time, even though if it was for only one night. I would highly recommend this hotel to a fellow traveler and would enjoy staying there again should we be traveling through.
