  I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, each time hoping that it will improve as trhe location is ideal and the rooms are while not exceptional are better than some. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, however bring your own pillow! The pillows are those overstuffed kind that keep your head elevated way to high. The so called "hot breakfast" is all instant except for the wafels. I'm sorry but the entire population doesn't use "water milk" my term for the so called 2% milk which again in my opinion is only that 2% milk and the rest water. We took one of our grandaughters with us (10 years old) and told her it would be fun because we could spend a lot of time in the "heated pool", the only thing heated was the room it was in and I'm not certain about that. Not to mention that it wasn't clean. After this experience I won;t stay there again. I will say that if its just a place to sleep over the rooms are comfortable and the internet rate isn't bad.

  Once I returned home from my trip, I realized that I left something back in the room. I called the hotel and they said they would check for it the next day. They said nothing was left in the room(lie number one) and later in the conversation they said they gave it to my son who came back in later(lie number two,I don't have a son). The manager said if it had sentimental value then I never should have left it in the room. The bottom line here is, lock everything up when you leave the room and be sure to check your room before you leave or you may never see it again. While the rooms aren't to bad, the cost is high and the breakfast is below average. I travel to Lexington about 10 times a year( VMI season ticket holder) and I will never stay here again.

• Nice hotel!

  Very comfortable beds, big fluffy pillows, very nice continental breakfast with sausage & eggs, indoor pool clean, excellent customer service. we'd stay again.

  The hotel was wonderful. it was very clean. the room was really large. the view was wonderful. check in/out was very fast and courteous.
