I am a professional Audio Visual provider who travels around the country doing events. I stayed at the Wyndham in Lynchburg recently and had the most incredible experience. First off the people who checked me in went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. They literally came to the room unprompted to bring me extra blankets and pillows and check on me. While this is nice, the thing that I appreciated most is that upon my departure I left the hotel not realizing that i left a check for a huge amount of money in my room. I was four hours away before I realized that the money was missing. I called the hotel and spoke with the manager. To my suprise, they had found it and put it in their safe knowing that eventually the owner would be looking for it. In the interest of security, they gave me a number of detailed questions to verify that I was indeed the person who I said I was. When I had met their approval and they knew I was the rightful owner of the check, they took it upon themselves to package the check up and send it to me via insured mail carrier. What a relief to know that there are still people out there in the world who have the integrity to be honest and do the right thing. This could have been a serious disaster for me and my company but because of the people at the Wyndham I am happy to say that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Great rooms and great people, what more could you ask for?? Thank you.

The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The bathroom has lots of fluffy towels and complimentary lotion and shampoo. I like having a mini-fridge and a microwave. I always look for a motel with a complimentary breakfast and this one was of the best.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpfull. The turntable in the microwave did not work. Breakfast was good and had a lot to choose from. The eggs and sausage was very greasy. Overall...Very good experience. I will saty here again.

07/06/2007This hotel is very convenient to those wanting close proximity to liberty univ. it actually overlooks the campus. make sure you ask for liberty discount.
