The staff was a little creepy, mainly the front desk agent. The rooms were small but this is NYC so that is the norm. Clean. Cab ride from Times Square with tip was $10. Great location.

We had not stayed in this part of town before. We were conveniently located between 2 Uptown subway lines which allowed us to view the Christmas lights and decoration in one area-Times Square and go towards 5th Avenue and Park Avenue without back tracking. The staff assisted with nearby pubs, restaurants and whatever questions we had. I would stay there again.

Never stayed in NYC before so did not know what to expect but expected small - it was small but sufficient. The hotel was great location - easy walk to Times Square and also train stations too. The hotel was super clean and all the front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. I was with a group of 10 - 5 adults and 5 kids - we had 3 rooms and fit 2 adults and 2 kids in 2 of the rooms and one adult and one child in the third. We truly only used the room for sleeping - but if you like soft, cuddly beds - these are definitely perfect to fall into after a night on the town in NYC. Would definitely recommend.

02/07/2011A very good value for money option in nyc. comfortable, clean, convenient. don't expect a huge room, but this is manhattan. i've stayed here twice and will return.
