We were given this vacation as a gift from someone who owns a timeshare with RCI and we chose Newport Onshore. We didn't realize how many wonderful things there are to do in Newport. Ocean Drive is a must, the mansions are superb, so many places to eat (Red Parrot on Thames was our favorite), and just an all-around wonderful place to vacation. The resort was excellent! The people at the front desk COULDN'T have been friendlier or more helpful, our room was so comfortable with a wood fireplace that was cozy, the jacuzzi was delightful and the view from our room was exceptional. This was our first experience in a timeshare resort and we are hooked. We are planning (when we can afford it) to purchase one ourselves as this is THE WAY to go with vacationing. We will definitely be back to Newport someday and would be delighted to buy our timeshare at Newport Onshore!
