We had a wonderful time at Wyndham Ocean Walk. The front desk was very friendly and accomodating. The two bedroom condo's are spacious. The master bedroom tub, very glamorous. We had coffee on our oceanfront balcony every morning. There are activities for all even inside hotel (gym, golf, game room, computer room, craft room) in case of bad weather. Condo connects to Ocean Walk shops on South 4th floor. 10 movie theatre's there along w/ restaurants. Would highly recommend this condo/hotel.

I stayed from 7/15/09 to 7/18/2009. Upon arrival I found that the elevators did not work. I waited for 30 minutes for an elevator and ended up caring luggage for 4 people up ten flights of stairs (no exaggeration). I then found that the A/C in my room did not work. It stayed around 80 degrees for the 1st day and a half until they came and fixed it. I also noticed small flat red bugs crawling on the pull out bed which were later identified as full grown bed bugs by hotel management. I was advised that we would have to change rooms. So we (girlfriend and two small children) gaithered our things and moved into a new room. The next day we started noticing bites on the children. We were given five $10.00 gifts certificates to use anywhere at the hotel. Although the gift certificates were thoughtfull, no one in the hotel wanted anything to do with them. Everybody wanted cash! I was treated like I was trying to buy things with food stamps. I have NEVER been one to complain over trival things, but this was by far the worst hotel experiance I ever had.

We have stayed at the Ocen Walk many times over the past 5 years. At first it was the only place that we would stay because of cleanliness, and the units having full kitchens. We have noticed a decline in cleanliness and service over the past few years. Our last stay was extremely dissapointing, and don't know if we will bother going back for more. Very long wait upon checking in didn't start us off very happy. There was only 1 desk associate on the ""renters"" side. The ""owner's"" side had 3 with 2 of them doing absolutlely nothing. Room left a lot to be desired this time. Walls were very marked up and the carpet was very stained and dirty looking. One of the beds was sagging to one side, the linens looked dingy and there were at least 3 bulbs out in various fixtures. The tub was very slow to drain, and drawers in bathroom were warped and wouldn't open. After sitting on the couch to watch TV we noticed a horrible sour smell. After investigating we realized it was coming from the couch. We had to grab the extra mattress pad (thank goodness it was very thick!) and comforter from the closet and cover the couch with it to be able to sit on it. Upon returning to the room one night, the locking bar mechanism had somehow flipped over and locked us out! Maybe it was from the wall shaking from when our ""neighbor"" would let their door slam behind them all the time. Maintnence had to ram the door out of the frame to get us in. The bed is right next to the corridor and light from hallway was bothersome. We were not impressed with Wyndham's maintnence and management of this previously nice resort!
