Performs the function of ensuring that the department’s get accurately charged for all supplies ordered; and be responsible for inputting, updating current records of all food, beverage and general items that are purchased by the property. Performs variety of accounting, record keeping and clerical functions in the accounting department.Must be able to handle customer problems such as answering questions about invoices and requisitions or the Inventory/Purchasing system. Accurately update and requisition all goods received and issued out each day. Must be able to generate cost report daily, and understand the importance of the report. Must be able to deliver C.A.S.H. to the user. Must be familiar with the system options and how to research items and invoices. Must be flexible in working shifts, lunches and break times. Adhere to company policies and procedure. Prepares to be an active participant in ensuring correct counts when taking physical inventories. Reconcile all daily reports to the computer system. Meets the attendance guidelines of the department.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous experience in personal computers, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word required. Must posses good mathematical and clerical aptitude skills. Must be able to operate office equipment such as: copier machine, fax machine and 10 key adding machine. Must be customer service oriented with good communication skills. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Stratton Warren experiences helpful but not required.
Must be able to work at a computer terminal through out the assigned shift and sit for a long period. Must be able to bend, reach, carry, stands and maneuver up and down stairs. Must be able to take telephone calls regarding departmental questions. Must be able to maneuver to and from various departments for paperwork. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to handle working late hours if needed. Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures when entering the Warehouse freezers for short period for Physical Inventories. Must be able to take telephone orders and make telephone calls regarding invoice questions.
