Buffet Host-Hostess/Cashier

Standing and maneuvering in confined area; cleaning and stocking areas; acknowledging, greeting and conversing in English with customers; reading and writing English; responding to visual and oral signals; addressing concerns and questions; pushing or pulling 75 lbs.; lifting 40 lbs.; standing and/or walking entire shift; working in hot or cold environment; carrying menus, removing dishes, delivering food, using cash register, answering phones and assisting guests with chairs while seating, manipulating tray jack when necessary; giving friendly, excellent service; tolerating area's containing secondary smoke; processing cash transactions accurately; previous host/hostess experience preferred. Previous money handling experience preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Hours will be 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. or 3 p.m.-midnight, 4 days/week.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1 year previous cashiering experience required. Good communication skills.

Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrah’s North Kansas City.
