Fresh Buffet - Host(ess)/Cashier

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for accepting and controlling monetary transactions for the buffet restaurant and assisting patrons and guests in a pleasant and courteous manner.
  
• Counting drawer before and after shift and verify the count.
  
• Make proper change without mechanical assistance.
  
• Responsible for employee sign-in sheet. Accurately record employee discounts on sign-in sheet.
  
• Courteously answer telephone calls and answer or direct calls properly.
  
• Assist patrons with questions or inquiries regarding the facility operations and boat schedules.
  
• Accurately complete credit card transactions.
  
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and neat.
  
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly manner.
  
• Direct busses and tour groups.
  
• Section dining rooms into stations.
  
• Report to Shift Supervisor any problems or guest complaints.
  
• Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.
  
• Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  
• Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
  
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
