Rivercrest Restaurant - Server Assistant Part-time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Clean tables after guests leave.
  
• Restock supplies as needed.
  
• Clean floors and make sure they are dry.
  
• Empty trash as needed.
  
• Assist food servers as needed.
  
• Refill ice bins as needed.
  
• Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.
  
• Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to: Lift up to 50 pounds.
  
• Stand or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to see. Hear.
  
• Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
  
• Climb steps repeatedly.
  
• Work accurately with basic math.
  
• Accurately handle and count large sums of cash and coin.
  
• Communicate verbally, clearly and articulately in the English language.
  
• Read, write and comprehend written English.
  
• Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
  
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
  
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  
• Previous experience as busperson preferred.
  
• Must have neat and clean appearance and outgoing personality.
  
• Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
