Massage Therapist

Performs various types of massage treatments, including, but not limited to, shiatsu, sports, deep-tissue, aromatherapy, Swedish, and reflexology. Administers skin conditioning treatments, including, but not limited to, alcohol rubs, body wraps, scrubs, and masks, hydrotherapy, dry heat and clod therapy. Ensures an optimum level of guest service and satisfaction, by providing a clean, quiet, comfortable, well-stocked work area. Routinely inspects work areas for cleaning needs, defective materials, and potential safety hazards; notifies appropriate person(s) for proper resolution/dispensation.

High School diploma or GED required. State Certification through an accredited institution required. Minimum of six months practical experience as a Massage Therapist required. Preferably in a spa or resort setting. Must be nationally certified and must have successfully completed a 600 hour minimum program from an AMTA approved institution. Must be 18 years of age or older.
