Horseshoe Casino & Hotel Tunica: Opened on February 13, 1995. The property features 245,000 Square Feet, including a 14-floor all-suite hotel tower. Gaming Area, Restaurants, Entertainment Venue and Hotel Lobby are all conveniently located on the first floor.

Sheraton Casino: Home of the “Hot Spot” opened August 1, 1994, at Casino Center in Northern Tunica County, Mississippi, just 12 miles from Tennessee state line at Casino Center off Highway 61. The 92,000 square-foot casino features 33,000 square feet of gaming space. The Sheraton hotel experience offers the only all suite hotel in Tunica. SUMMARY: Provides basic security functions for the property to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide protection for the casino and all employees and guests, and is responsible for the overall protection of company assets.
Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills, and credits.
Interact with guests, employees and law enforcement agencies in a professional manner.
Maintain a written log of incidents involving guests or employee, and prepare additional detailed reports, as may be required.
Maintain and inventories first aid equipment on assigned shift.
Administers emergency medical treatment to injured guests and employees.
Assesses the injured or sick individuals? need and if necessary, arrange for the dispatching of rescue units. (Ambulance, helicopter, etc.).
Performs Security officer duties when not providing medical services.
Ensure departmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and with departmental and company policies and procedures.
Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations, identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the appropriate personnel.
Support and maintain the Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
Promote outstanding guest relations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GET);
Previous law enforcement experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid state driver's license
