We have openings for a Table Games Floor Supervisor at our Horseshoe Southern Indiana property. As the world’s largest riverboat casino with over 90,000 square feet of gaming action, we’re located just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville, KY and situated in Elizabeth, Indiana (Harrison County). The property is just 10 minutes south of New Albany, IN on Hwy. 111.
Job Summary: Oversees the operations of an assigned gaming area in compliance with Indiana Gaming Commission rules. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high quality customer service to all patrons and employees of Caesars Indiana.
Essential Functions:
Supervises and verifies the operation and conduct of designated game areas. Ensures games are dealt to the customer reflecting a high degree of proficiency and to the pace of the customer.
Supervises table game dealers and provides training to ensure proper procedure of casino rules and regulations.
Maintains bank floats.
Reports significant cash and cheque transactions.
Verifies issuance of credit after all necessary signatures are confirmed.
Tracks essential play and relays all pertinent information to immediate Supervisor.
Acts as role model and motivates subordinates to provide superior level of customer service to the guests.
Handles guests concerns quickly and efficiently within scope of authority.
Verbally informs Floor and Asst. Shift Manager, as well as Surveillance of unnatural or irregular play.
Verbally informs Floor and Asst. Shift Manager of disputes on game.
Knows and abides by IGC Regulations and company policies and procedures
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have four (4) years Casino Operations experience. Excellent math skills and the ability to multi-task. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (4 hour intervals).
Must be able to sit for long periods of time (2 hour intervals).
Responds to visual and aural cues.
Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards, dice and spinning wheels, as well as operate a computer.
Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, stoop, kneel, grab, grip, sort and stack.
Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
