As the world’s largest riverboat casino with over 90,000 square feet of gaming action, we’re located just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville, KY and situated in Elizabeth, Indiana (Harrison County). The property is just 10 minutes south of New Albany, IN on Hwy. 111.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Works in the VIP office and Diamond Lounge to assist guests with their requests and concerns.
Issues tickets and various comps to VIP guests, makes reservations at restaurants, hotels, golf and with established transportation companies.
Assists casino hosts with all reservations for guests.
Services calls from invited guests to special events and promotions.
Telemarkets certain special events and promotions.
Conducts surveys by telephone as well as in person.
Serves as an information center for all guests internal and external.
Participates in promotional activities as requested or directed, including sign ups, drawings, announcements via loud speaker, postings and maintaining records.
Accountable to complete and maintain paperwork on all reservations in a timely manner.
Accountable to assist any guest who identifies him/herself as needing help with a responsible gaming issue, and to handle the matter according to policies and procedures.
Any and all related job duties as requested.



REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be friendly, outgoing and comfortable in dealing with the public and resolving guest problems and issues.
Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for long periods of time (4-5 hours).
Must be able to work in a tobacco smoke filled environment.
Must be able to work in an environment with bright lights and loud noises.
Must be accurate and able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute or greater in order to effectively utilize the computer based system and internal computer systems such as Logical Systems International (LSI), SMS, > Microsoft word, excel and other related or similar computer applications.
Communicate with guests and coworkers in English (Multi-language skills highly desirable but not required).
Able to work flexible days and hours within the parameters of various shifts. Must be able to work weekends and
holidays.
Ability to perform basic calculations and work with numbers.
Must qualify for, obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
