The essential functions for this position are: Produce the highest quality of cleanliness in designated areas following established procedures.
Tasks would include, but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning of wood, glass, pictures, doors, tables, chairs, slot machines and carpets.
Responsible for cleanliness of floors in assigned public and employee areas, which includes all front and back of the house. Maintains and cleans equipment used.
Responsible for equipment or process: equipment used would include but not limited to vacuums, space vacuums, floor buffer, shampoo machines, back PAC and water vacuum, and escalator cleaner.
Uses equipment and supplies properly.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Report maintenance concerns to supervisor.
Follow all rules and regulations according to pre-set standards.
Follow all safety and lost and found procedures and guidelines for energy conservation.
Follow established key and chemical procedures.
According to periodic maintenance schedule, buffs floors, shampoos, and extract carpets.
Deep clean restrooms, stock all supply closets, vacuum gaming tables, clean deli tables and base, remove trash, clean sled chairs, clean all areas around slot machines, clean ash trays and urns, remove gum from floor.
According to periodic maintenance schedule, performs duties such as cleaning of high vents, lights and ceilings, stripping and preparing floors for waxing, scrubbing and re-coating on set schedule.
Reports any unusual or suspicious activities to supervisor.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Good communication skills, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred but not required.
No initial experience required. Training program for 1 week with proficiency reached in approximately 1-1-½ months.
Continuous lifting, carrying of up to 5 Lbs., pushing and pulling. Uses dexterity and gross motor skills continually. Frequently bends, reaches above shoulder and lifts, carries 6 to 25Lbs. Occasionally kneels. On rare occasions climbs, crawls and work in difficult positions.
Ability to tolerate areas containing dust, second-hand smoke, bright lights and loud noises.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (6-8 hours).
Detail oriented.
Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
Must Qualify for, obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
