We have several openings for Security Officers at our Harrah’s St Louis property in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Job Functions

Assist disabled guests into and around casino; assists customers (internal & external) by giving directions, providing information about promotions and events, and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner; provides service and interactions with a diverse group of players and customers; builds relationships with customers by smiling and greeting customers and making them feel comfortable; provides automobile assistance and service to guests and employees (ex. change flat tire, jump start a car); direct safety hazards\complaints from employees and guests to appropriate department and\or person; first to arrive to provide medical assist and guest injuries and attend to individuals according to policy as necessary; must attend to people in of CPR and AED; assists in transporting individuals for further medical assistance; attend to and follow company practices regarding handling difficult and hostile situations; detain and restrain unruly or disorderly customers; prepares reports and documents incidents in accordance with company policy; provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearings; follows proper procedures for handling lost and found items performs both table game and slot machine transactions; provides escorts of money and compliance with established key control procedures.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older. High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Willing and able to demonstrate reading and writing as part of the application process; must be able to prepare effective written reports; must posses customer and employee relations skills and willing to become certified in Harrah's customer service certification program; willing to undergo background check; must be able to work any day of the week and any shift; must present a professional appearance and wear company uniform; comfortable assuming responsibility providing security to guests and customers; must be able to work and stand inside and outside; must be able to physically restrain customers; must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads; must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
