JOB SUMMARY: Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, cooks, food servers, server assistants and restaurant host/hostess.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Wipes counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation. Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards. Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures. Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and front line in accordance with department procedures. As the leader, be in control of coordinating all outgoing food items from the kitchen. Earn the feeling of great accomplishment as you work at an intense level of speed exceeding ticket times while assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality. Requires attention to detail, commitment to standards, continuous mobility, some heavy lifting and hot working conditions. Ability to ensure the organization of the front line, communicating with the food preparation staff allowing adequate time for food items to be prepared for our guest. Maintains par levels of operating supplies (trays, china, flatware, glassware, utensils), condiments, and paper supplies for food line obtaining replacement stock from warehouse area and/or warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure. Recognizes Diamond and Platinum players and ensures they receive the appropriate service. Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas. Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck and makes it easy for them to get back in play. Provides personalized service during guest interactions.


QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Prior customer service in a fast paced environment preferred. Read, understand and speak English. Excellent customer service/communication skills. Available to work required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.


PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Glass racks, bus tubs with dishes, bins of flatware). Must be able to push or pull 100 lbs. (Loaded bus carts, refuse dollies, food carts, tables and chairs). Must be able to lift trays with food above shoulder level. Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas; able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping table tops and service station areas. Able to work in constricting areas. Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing. Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights. Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment. Must be able to maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold company appearance standards.
