Responsible for dealing table games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrah’s Cherokee Casino guests.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Upbeat personality for all interactions with guests and fellow employees.
  
• Proactive in anticipating customer needs.
  
• Motivation in becoming familiar with all guests, remembering names and little facts.
  
• Possess money-handling skills, count large sums of cash and exchange for table chips.
  
• Possess a thorough working knowledge of the D21 game.
  
• Documented strong knowledge of department policies and procedures including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.
  
• Routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with customers by handling disputes and making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction.
  
• Exercises appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.
  
• Knowledge of special promotions and events.
  
• Coordinates with Casino Table Games and Security to detect and prevent attempts to cheat identifying irregularities and bringing to the attention of Casino Table Games
  Supervisor or Manager.
  
• Acts as a role mode; always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and encourages others to do the same.
  
• Encourage Total Rewards participation and sign up guest for Total Rewards whenever possible.
  
• Answer all requests of customers, or contact higher authority to do so.
  
• Provide excellent FOCUS service.
  
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma Required or GED
  
• Successful completion of 21 School with certification awarded
  
• Must have strong money handling skills
  
• Must speak fluent Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean, multi dialects preferred.
  
• Must meet Harrah’s Cherokee Casino standards in regard to rules, knowledge and dealing.
  
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor
  
• Team player
  
• Attention to detail
  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong Math skills
  
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management.
