Assist supervisor in efficient operation of the Laundry Department. Supervises, directs, assists, and monitors performance of all Laundry Attendants to ensure the proper completion of Laundry tasks.

Set forth by the department.

• Follows inventory and purchasing procedures in order to achieve budgeted expenses.
  
• Maintains key control within the department.
  
• Accountable for the follow-up with department walk through, special clean
  
• Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
  
• Coaches and develops employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor while clearly articulating expectations.
  
• Provides direction and support for all staff members to achieve department goals and objectives.
  
• Ensures all Laundry Attendants are well trained with an emphasis on detail to provide service levels consistent with the established concept for the Hotel service.
  
• Assigns laundry attendants daily tasks while maintaining the exceptional quality standards ing projects and maintenance of department cleanliness and training standards.
  
• Follows and enforces security and safety guidelines are in place.
  
• Serves as a role model.
  
• Experience in hospitality or commercial laundry of like size and like equipment preferred.
  
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
  
• Ability to work rotating shifts and fluctuating days off.
  
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.
  
• Excellent customer service skills required.
  
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Self-starter; must work without close supervision
  
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
• Knowledge of AS400, PROMUSP
  
• Knowledge of Harrah's employment policies
  
• Must complete Supervisor Survival Skills training.
