Dual Rate Supervisor/Guest Room Attendant

Job Summary: Supervises a team of guest room attendants on an as needed basis. When acting in this capacity will be responsible for the performance of guest room attendants and quality control of their work through room inspections and observations. When not performing the role of a supervisor, will perform the duties of a guest room attendant and will be responsible for cleaning rooms in accordance with Harrah's standards and quotas.

Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year experience in a responsible cleaning position. One year supervisory experience preferred.

Essential Job Functions:Ensure that all teammembers have the needed supplies and equipment to do their job effectively. Provide both technical job training and customer service training to the employees. Prepare performance reviews, coaching and discplinary action when needed. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and Buzz sessions. Complete written inspections to ensure quality cleaning standards are met. Resolve any customer service issues that may arise. Needs to ensure that all staff is working safely and following all Health and Osha regulations. Must ensure that all keys are handled in accordence with the Harrah's Laughlin policy and procedures. Cleans rooms in accordance with Harrah's standards.

Physical & Mental Demands:Must be able to work independently. Must be able speak, read, write Must be able to bend,crouch,kneel and twist in the work area. Respond to visual and oral cues. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions. Must be able to maneuver around property to pick up and deliver various paperwork. Ability to push and pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
