Executive Casino Host

In this key role you will build and maintain relationships with premium customers through a variety of in-bound and out-bound channels (e.g., phone, mail, e-mail, etc). Leverage property amenities/programs to target players. Utilize casino computer systems for the purpose of tracking complimentary items to qualified guests based upon pre-determined incentive guidelines. Determine the financial potential of customers using all reliable sources available. Arrange accommodations and amenities (i.e., shows, hotel, restaurant and transportation). Handle and resolve player concerns. Maintain high standard of courtesy, professionalism and discretion in all communications to, about, or with customers. Ensure guests are aware of events and represent the company at external functions and special events. Plan, schedule and arrange visits to Harrah's for selected individual guests. Maintain high levels of visibility throughout the facility. Keep informed of competitive promotional methods. Communicate guidelines for the issuance and/or collection of customer credit according to established regulatory procedures. Comply with state and local regulatory requirements.

Qualified candidates must possess 3 to 5 years previous experience as a host w/established book of business. Must have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Must have strong tele-sales and relationship building skills. Computer literate in Microsoft office. Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem-solution skills. Must be resourceful and highly motivated to meet new customers and establish successful relationships. Must be able to work effectively across all departments and as a part of a larger team. Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance. Must be willing to adhere to all gaming regulations and guidelines. Must be willing to work any shift and any day when necessary. Must be willing and able to work extended hours during special events, including limited overnight travel. Bi-lingual a plus. College degree preferred. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
