- Provides fast and flawless service to every customer.
- Provides friendly service to every customer.
- Cleans ash urns, vacuums carpet areas, cleans slot machines, polishes furniture and other bright areas.
- Properly uses cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure safety.
- Performs laundry/linen receipt.
- Cleans and monitors customer and employee bathrooms.
- Empties garbage on casino floor and other back of house areas.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.
- Ability to work in a smoke filled environment.
- Must be a team player.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 20lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when stocking, storing, and maneuvering around the work place.
- Must have the physical ability to walk 5+ miles during the work day and be capable of standing during the length of one’s shift.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling customer needs and concerns.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
