Job Title : Director of Finance, Gaming Operations – Based in MacauReports To: Vice President of Finance
Supervises: Cotai Cage Operations, Count Operations, Casino Accounting, & Gaming Audit
Summary:
To manage the Casino Finance areas for the Company, from pre-opening through to, and including, operational stage. This includes all Cages, Count Rooms, Gaming Audit and Casino Accounting Departments for the casinos. To provide advisory services for future Casinos on the Cotai Strip. Provide assistance to the Vice President of Finance – Cotai as required.
Responsible for all Accounting, GL, Financial Planning and Analysis activities, Forecasts, Estimates, Budgets, etc. with regards to Gaming Operations in Cotai.
To perform all duties in accordance with the Company policies and within the realm of the Company vision, mission and values.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the management and supervision of each Cotai property’s Cage, Casino Count, Gaming Audit, and Casino Accounting Departments.
2. Assist in the creation, and authorization of, the pre-opening Casino Finance design, space and operational requirements for each Company’s property on the Cotai Strip.
3. Provide Casino Finance budgets for Cotai properties as required. This may include pre-opening, capital expense, staffing, and FF&E budgets.
4. Develop an effective organization chart and recruit and develop a strong management team as well as manage and oversee the ongoing recruitment of staff for each property to remain operationally successful.
5. Implement and approve internal controls and departmental procedures, and authorize and implement improved changes as necessary.
6. Ensure operational consistency amongst properties which includes consistency amongst internal controls, procedures, customer service and decision making.
7. Ensure strong compliance to Nevada Minimum Internal Control Standards, Sarbanes – Oxley Legislation, Macau Gaming Board and Anti Money Laundering requirements.
8. Assist to provide enhanced communication between management and staff at each property and between each property.
9. Ensure a successful training formula is developed for each department which includes the development of high potential employees whilst providing for succession planning opportunities
Experience/qualifications requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 15 years working in a large and reputable organization with minimum of 8 years in the casino environment in a senior finance role.
• Previous experience with some or all of the following: ACSC (CMS and SMS), Currency Note Counting Machines (Soft Count), Infinium (General Ledger), PC Software (MS-Office), Micros, LMS, etc., however may be redeemed by a strong background in Accounting/Auditing principles.
• Both operations (Cage/Count) and financial (accounting/auditing) experience preferred.
• Solid academic credentials including possession of a CPA is desired
• Solid experience managing teams of people. Proven track record in providing leadership in accounting and business process improvement.

• Strong people skills including ability to interact effectively with senior management
