Greets guests and directs to front desk for room check-ins, Assists guests with any luggage or parcels and acts as a source of information. Expedites and assists in controlling the guest flow within the Hotel Lobby, upon arrival and departures, providing friendly, excellent service to hotel guests who request any type of assistance.

Greets and welcomes guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Provides or obtains information requested by guests, within established guidelines. Memorizes current weather forecasts, road conditions and restrictions to inform guests, if requested. Maintains constant awareness of all activities in and outside lobby area of Hotel, directs guests to area or location requested. Helps the guests with any luggage or parcels including tagging the items. Coordinate with Bell Desk to ensure highest customer service is given every time. Give clear directions and resolve issues for customers when necessary. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies. Demonstrates Harrah’s Spotlight 5 behaviors: Initiates Friendly Greeting, Smiles and Makes Eye Contact, Demonstrates Upbeat and Positive Attitude, Checks for Satisfaction, Provides a Warm Farewell.

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. A minimum of one year customer service experience in a position where the primary job duty is direct customer contact, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to guests every time. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift. Must present a well-groomed appearance

Able to work independently. Able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside, sometimes in heat in excess of 95 degrees or cold in excess of 10 degrees. Able to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch and lift objects. Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Respond to visual and aural cues. Ability to maintain composure under all situations. Good verbal skills and excellent guest courtesy skills
