Job Summary: Responsible for overall operation of designated Pit area and when called upon assists the Casino Manager Games with the supervision and administration of all gaming operations on assigned shift.
Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, communication, team-building and problem-solving skills are required. Must have a track record of personally providing excellent customer service. Minimum of three years experience as a Table Games Supervisor is required. Previous experience as a Harrah’s Team Leader is preferred. Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must have strong working knowledge of all games.
Essential Job Functions: Administers the operation of assigned Pit games ensuring the highest quality customer service exists. Maintains security of all games, monies and personnel. Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activity by Pit employees or gaming customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation within established policies and procedures. Stimulates a friendly and courteous attitude among Pit employees by consistent example of pleasant expression, alert posture and hospitable manner. Monitors the volume and quality of Pit business and adjusts game spread and table limits as appropriate within established policy. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands: Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver in and around assigned Pit area during entire shift. Must be able to stoop, reach and bend as necessary. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast paced environment. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area. Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
