JOB DESCRIPTION: Greet all guests with a smile and friendly, warm greeting. Showroom Security Host will assist in any seating issues. Possible duplicate seats, over sold shows, or guests that need special assists with their ticketed seats. Host may be asked to work with the Box Office/Ticket Sales Supervisor to make sure the guest is not inconvenienced while waiting.
Host may be asked to assist in the training of any new staff that is hired as Security Host. If required they will instruct the new hire of the job responsibilities and teach them the layouts and the procedures of the rooms. Host and assist in counting and tracking ticket counts for each show. Host will insure that all show doors open on time and that shows start and end on the scheduled time. Host will assist in walking the rooms prior to show doors opening to insure that room is ready for the guests, wiped tables and chairs, clean floors, escalators/elevators are on, bars are ready, and technical crew is ready. Host may be asked to deal with any upset guest due to bad service, bad seats, or any unpleasant situation. Host might also have to speak to a guest if an ID is not accepted for a show entrance. All of this will be done in a polite and professional manner.
