Performing daily casino and non-gaming revenue audits, cash summaries, journals for entry and related revenue reports for management. Verifying and recording revenue for gaming or non-gaming areas. Preparing deposit slips for/or captures credit card billing, reconciling credit card deposits and responding to customer billing inquires and disputes. Communicating both written and verbally with affiliated departments on variances, statistics and exceptions to policy and procedures. Maintaining casino forms inventory. Maintaining Slot File in Slot Data System. Performing related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree in related area preferred. General knowledge in casino operations (cage, table games and slot activities) or non-gaming operations (hotel, complimentary, food and beverage and retail). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to be self directed in clerical projects. Able to handle multiple tasks and adjust to change with flexibility. Attention to detail and follow-through. Takes initiative when responding to inquires or working on projects. Strong Ten Key skill. One or two years previous experience in accounting /payroll field. Numerical or statistical aptitude. Must have working knowledge of PC applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Access) or equivalent.
Licensing and Certification Required:
Employees may be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming Commission license. The initial license is paid for by the employee through payroll deduction. All subsequent renewals for the license are paid by Harrah’s North Kansas City.
