Attendant Spa

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Monitors entrance, greets members and guests, and checks membership passes. Collects money and issues receipts for membership sales; court fees; guest fees; Pro Shop Sales; Racquetball and Nautilus instruction; etc. Processes applications, takes reservations, schedules appointments, and answers phone. Responsible for all guest services in spa/pool area. Greets all customers and checks to see the guest has signed in before entering the pool area. Instructs and orientates guests to the steam, sauna, exercise equipment, tanning salons, whirlpool and locker and towel service procedures. Folds and stocks towels in pool and workout areas. Picks up supplies from storage areas. Completes detailed task listing sheet on a daily basis. Administers locker, safe deposit and towel distribution procedures. Guides the customers to and from each of their “treatments” while they are going through the spa process. Assists fellow employees where needed in Spa (ex: locker room, front desk, pro shop). May provide Nautilus instruction; ability to teach, design and train staff related to fitness programs and curriculum implementation.

One year experience in a spa or health club setting preferred. Certified, or willingness to be certified, in First Aid and Life Saving Techniques; if acting as a lifeguard, must be certified in Red Cross Advanced Water Safety and Rescue.
