A Security Host is responsible for providing a friendly and safe environment for Guests and Employees at the Voodoo Lounge. Greet all guests promply and courteously. Check dress-code issues, check all ID, survey crowds and ensure guest safety. Manage any intoxicated or unruly guests and assist in all emergency procedures. Be attentive and present at all times while on shift. Greet all guests with a smile and friendly, warm greeting.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Friendly, outgoing personality a must. Neat, Professional appearance with good personal hygiene a must. Ability to handle situations quickly, efficiently, and safely. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Strenuous duties include substantial amount of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at one time. Must be able to comply with all physical and mental requirements. The host must be able to restrain a male or female subject weighing up to 200lbs. Must be able to conduct conversations with customers. Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public and interdepartmental contact. Must be able to work in a smoke filled, loud, and dark environment. Must be able to work any shift and weekends. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
