After more than 30 years, Delaware offers legal sports betting in the state’s three racinos. There isn’t unlimited betting like the operators wanted but they are allowed to feature parlay wagering. That may change in the future as the state decides whether to appeal that decision.

Bettors will be able play one of three games. The one with the highest payout allows gamblers to pick at least three games per week and bet on the point spread. The other games offer lower payouts but bettors have the option of adjusting the point spreads.

The last time Delaware had parlay betting available on NFL games was back in 1976. The program was stopped at the time because it didn’t make nearly the revenue they expected. Now with the budget crunch like most states are facing, the state is trying again to see if the revenues will help bridge the budget gap.
