— A Checotah middle school teacher was charged Wednesday with multiple counts of credit card fraud. Patricia Ridenour was released on her own recognizance after turning herself in to McIntosh County officials on six counts of unauthorized use of a credit card.

CHECOTAH - The Kellyville Ponies traveled to Checotah Friday night and it was not to see Carrie Underwood but to instead ruin the Wildcats homecoming as the boys knocked off Checotah 58-44 to get their ninth win of the season.

MOUNDS - The Mounds Tournament tipped off on Thursday, with some of the top area talent in attendance. Both Mounds and Kellyville participated in the tournament, along with Sperry, Checotah, Oktaha, Summit Christian, the Glenpool Junior Varsity and Bristow.
