Pot Limit Poker
Pot limit is kind of a combination of limit and no limit poker. There are still minimum betting requirements, but at any time a player may bet a maximum of the amount in the pot. This allows for the building of potentially larger pots than limit poker while still being safer to your bankroll than no limit poker. A word of caution should be extended however, that even though it may be safer than no limit, it should still be approached with caution. Much can be won, but much can be lost as well.
Always remember to play within your limits.
