$ 180,000 Cash of the Caribbean Giveaway
1. All participants must be at least 21 years of age.
2. All participants must have a Hollywood Casino Aurora Screen Test, Marquee, Marquee Gold or Marquee Premier Card. Screen Test Cards are free and may be obtained by presenting a valid, state-issued photo ID at the Promotions Booth.
3. Hollywood Casino's $180,000 Cash Of The Caribbean Giveaway runs from March 24, 2007, through August 25, 2007, and actually consists of two separate drawing components. The components are as follows:
a. Monthly drawings for $27,000 in cash prizes on May 19, 2007, June 30,2007, and July 28, 2007, with 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM drawing sessions on each of the three drawing dates; and
b. A grand prize drawing for $100,000 on August 25, 2007. Entry into the grand prize drawing will be determined by winning any regular cash prize in any of the three $27,000 monthly drawings. One grand prize entry will be awarded for each prize won. Therefore, since there is no limit to the number of prizes a patron can win, there is no limit to the number of grand prize entries a patron can accumulate. Five patrons may also become eligible by playing Hollywood Casino's Million Dollar Spin Giveaway.
4. Entry into the $27,000 monthly cash drawing is determined by the accumulation of points earned through slot or table game play. For the $27,000 monthly cash drawing, players will earn one (1) entry for every 5 Star Points or 5 Table Game Points earned. An entry may also be given as a prize for playing Hollywood Casino's Million Dollar Spin Giveaway – April 9, 2007, through July 8, 2007.
5. The $27,000 monthly cash drawings will be held on the following Saturdays: May 19, June 30 and July 28, 2007.
6. Entries for the May 19, 2007, drawing will be earned between March 24, 2007, and May 18, 2007, and must be picked up no later than midnight on May 18, 2007.
7. Entries for the June 30, 2007, drawing will be earned between May 19, 2007, and June 29, 2007, and must be picked up no later than midnight on June 29, 2007.
8. Entries for the July 28, 2007, drawing will be earned between June 30, 2007, and July 27, 2007, and must be picked up no later than midnight on July 27, 2007.
9. Patrons must pick up entries by the deadline. Entries not picked up by the deadline will be forfeited. ENTRIES MAY NOT BE PICKED UP ON THE DATE OF THE DRAWING.
10. On each of the May 19, June 30 and July 28, 2007, drawing dates, Hollywood Casino Aurora will award $27,000 in cash prizes. There will be four drawing sessions on each drawing date at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Entries must be deposited in the drawing drum in the Casino prior to each drawing session starting time. Hollywood will award $5,500 in cash prizes (25-$100, 4-$250, 2-$500 and 1-$1,000) during each drawing session.
11. Players select which drawing(s) they enter and how many entry(ies) to deposit for each respective drawing. All winners must be present to win and claim their prize within 10 minutes of the announcement of the winner's name.
ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL ONLY BE MADE IN THE CASINO. It is the winner's sole responsibility to listen for their name and claim their prize within 10 minutes. Hollywood Casino Aurora assumes no liability for winners who fail to claim
their prize within the allotted time. All winners must present one form of valid identification and their Hollywood Screen Test, Marquee, Marquee Gold or Marquee Premier Card when picking up their prize. If the prize winner does
not have a valid form of identification, the prize will be considered claimed and held at the Casino Cashier Cage for 30 days, after which the prize will be deemed unclaimed. THE DRAWING DRUM WILL BE EMPTIED AFTER EACH DRAWING SESSION.
12. In addition, a "bonus entry form" shall be given to each prize winner throughout the day. After the 4:30 PM drawing, a Hollywood Casino representative will place the 128 entries into the empty drum. A security agent will then spin the drum vigorously. One winner will be selected for a single $5,000 bonus cash prize. The winner of the $5,000 bonus cash prize need not be present to win. If the winner is not present, he or she will be notified by certified mail or phone call and will have 60 days to claim the prize. Prizes not claimed within 60 days will be forfeited.
13. All prize winners from the four drawing sessions on each of the three $27,000 drawing dates (384 total entries =128 per drawing date x 3 drawing dates) and up to 5 winners from Hollywood Casino's Million Dollar Spin Giveaway will be eligible for the August 25, 2007, grand prize drawing. Up to 389 entrants will be eligible for the grand prize drawing of $100,000.
14. Up to 389 winners will be placed on an eligibility list for the August 25, 2007, drawing. On August 25, 2007, winning patrons must present a Hollywood Screen Test, Marquee, Marquee Gold or Marquee Premier Card, and a valid, state-issued photo ID at the registration drawing table located on the casino floor to receive their entry(ies) for the $100,000 grand prize drawing. Winners need to pick up their $100,000 grand prize drawing entry ticket(s) between noon and 3:45 PM on August 25, 2007. All entries for the $100,000 grand prize drawing must be placed in the drawing drum in the casino by 3:59 PM on August 25, 2007. At 4 PM the drawing drum will be closed and no further entries will be accepted. A Hollywood Casino Aurora security agent will then draw one entry for the $100,000 grand prize. Players are solely responsible for arriving on time and depositing prize entry(ies) by 3:59 PM deadline. GRAND PRIZE WINNER NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN. IF THE WINNER IS NOT PRESENT, HE OR SHE WILL BE NOTIFIED BY CERTIFIED MAIL OR TELEPHONE AND WILL HAVE 60 DAYS TO CLAIM THEIR PRIZE. IF NOT CLAIMED WITHIN 60 DAYS, THE GRAND PRIZE WILL BE FORFEITED.
15. The $100,000 grand prize will be paid out in the form of a 20-year annuity. The $100,000 grand prize winner may elect to take a $25,000 lump sum cash payment in lieu of the $100,000 20-year annuity.
16. Winners are responsible for payment of all federal and state taxes.
17. Entries are non-transferable and non-refundable.
18. Hollywood Casino Aurora is the sole judge of game rules and the awarding of prizes. Hollywood Casino Aurora reserves the right to discontinue provision of the Giveaway Game without notice. Further, Hollywood Casino Aurora may alter or change any portion of the Giveaway Game at any time and for any reason, subject to Illinois Gaming Board approval. Notification of any changes will be announced and/or made available to participants on hand.
19. Hollywood assumes no responsibility or liability for players that miss the deposit deadline, incorrect information in the database, incorrect mail, failure to pick up mail, or consequential damages arising therefrom including, but not limited to, forfeiture of prizes.
20. Employees of Hollywood Casino Aurora, their immediate family members (immediate family is defined as employee’s spouse, parents, sibling, child or stepchild) and employees of Hollywood's affiliate companies are not
eligible to participate.
21. Odds of winning are dependent primarily on the number of game participants and entries deposited in the drawing drum for each drawing.
22. All winners are deemed to grant permission to Hollywood Casino Aurora for advertising/promotional use of their names, photographs and identity.
