Jamie Foxx has established himself as one of the biggest stars working in today’s entertainment world. He first gained notice as part of the hit TV comedy show “In Living Color,” and later with his own self-titled comedy show. During the 2004-2005 awards season, he picked up a long list of honors, including an Oscar, for his portrayal of legendary musician Ray Charles in the biopic Ray. Foxx became a recording star with album Unpredictable which topped the charts in 2005 and 2006. His appearance at Mohegan Sun follows the national Christmas-day release of Dreamgirls, which is poised to become the film sensation of the 2006 holiday season. Foxx co-stars in the film with Beyoncé and Eddie Murphy.

Fantasia’s own rapid rise to fame came when she emerged as the winner of American Idol’s third season in 2004 with her stirring, soulful voice. Her debut album, Free Yourself, was a smash, and her eagerly-anticipated new album Fantasia hits stores in mid-December. Fantasia starred in the story of her own life, Life Is Not A Fairy Tale, on the Lifetime network, and her biography is also available as a book of the same title.
