The most important night in Blues will be held for the first time ever in the birthplace of the Blues--the Mississippi Delta. Join us at the Grand Casino Resort Tunica as we host the 2008 Blues Music Awards on Thursday, May 8. On this prestigious night Blues performers, industry representatives and fans from all over the world will come together to celebrate the best in Blues recordings and performances from the previous year. Each year, the Blues Foundation presents The Blues Music Awards to the artists selected by its members. Which are the highest honors given to Blues artists.
Also, the Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Charter Members' Dinner will be held the night before on Wednesday, May 7, at the Tunica Riverpark museum, which sits right on the banks of the Mississippi River.
