About 500 players were on hand for the first day of the World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe Casino. Over the next 10 days, one winner will emerge from the Texas Hold 'Em Tournament to earn a seat at the finals in Las Vegas. This is the first time the event has been held in Iowa.
