There's a new "Coast" in town and now you can check it out for yourself. After years in development the $600 million South Coast Resort on the far end of the Strip opens Thursday at 7:00pm.

It all begins with a fireworks show at the property at Las Vegas Boulevard and Silverado Ranch.
The South Coast Hotel and Casino is just one of the many properties owned and operated by Coast Casinos. Boyd Gaming owns Coast Casinos. The billion dollar merger took place in July of last year.

Under the Coast name, the company operates four casinos in addition to the South Coast. They are the Barbary Coast, Gold Coast, Sun Coast and the Orleans.
