Requiring members to have real email accounts and activate the membership cuts down on the number of trolls and spammers. Yes trolls and spammers still come around to try to ruin a site, but it's harder to create new names to troll and spam this way. |

Also, with the fact that this site has the opportunity to take the points you earn to win prizes, we do not want people coming in with 10 different usernames and getting tons of points for posting on 10 different names. That would be lame, and it's just not allowed. |

I have observed since joining this board that my Norton Antivirus periodically notifies me a worm generated from an Asian marketing company repeatedly tries to break into my system. |

I use a virus protector, and firewall. So far so good, nothing popping up at all. I am interested in seeing what your looking at though. |
