POST FALLS, Idaho A Post Falls bar owner says he'll look into alleged gambling at his tavern, after a warning by police.
Police told Daniel Anderson, owner of Goodtimes Tavern, that he may be promoting illegal gambling with illegal payouts from his video gaming machines.
They say they received anonymous tips.
The warning came two days after a club operated by the Eagles in Post Falls was raided.
Seven electronic gaming machines there were seized, along with a dice game and cash.
Lieutenant Greg McLean says "We told Mr. Anderson that we had concerned citizens tell us about possible gambling and that he should really consider whether he potentially wants to be in the same boat as the Eagles.
"He said he'd look into it."
Other than the state lottery, gambling such as slot machines is illegal in Idaho. |
