Comedy club headliner Kathleen Madigan has carved out a hugely successful stand-up career on major stages across the U.S. and as a popular guest on late night TV. She has appeared on "Evening at... Read More...the Improv", the HBO special “Women of the Night III,” "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Show with David Letterman", in addition to VH-1's “50 Greatest Celebrity Feuds,” E! Entertainment's “100 Greatest Celebrity Oops!,” "Hollywood Squares", FOX Sports Net's “The Best Damn Sports Show,” Style TV's “Style Court” and writes for US Weekly's Fashion Police. Her wry, topical brand of humor has made Kathleen a favorite on Comedy Central where she starred in her own half-hour comedy special "Comedy Central Presents: Kathleen Madigan" and the "USO Comedy Tour Special." She recently returned from Melbourne, Australia, where she starred in the Comedy Central special "The World Comedy Tour." Kathleen has also released her second CD "Shallow Happy Thoughts for the Soul" and a DVD entitled "The First DVD". The spunky St. Louis native’s ability to riff on serious subjects – and draw insane conclusions -- sells out Kathleen’s live shows and earned her the American Comedy Awards’ “Best Female Club Comic.” Kathleen is known for her superb timing and a polished, sophisticated act that inspired Gary Shandling to ask Kathleen to write material for the 2003/04 Emmy Awards, Bob Costas to name her as one of his favorite comics and Jay Leno to single her out as the funniest comedian on the Howard Stern Show.
