Do you think that you are addicted to gambling? Some people say I am slightly addicted, but I just say that I really like it...hahaha!

So, what do you think about yourself? Truthfully, how much do you like gambling?

I like to gamble, but I am very careful about my limits and I always try to quit when I'm ahead. Gambling for me is a fun thing to do with friends--I'm not competitive about it and I'm not addicted either. I just like to have a good time making a few bets .

I wouldn't consider myself addicted at all. I like to play, but I will play to a point. I know when I have had my share of gambling. Then again, there is a time that I don't want to stop playing. That happens ever so often though.

I set myself a strict limit each time - I take enough cash with me, and leave my bank card at home! I don't gamble all the time, but I know that I could easily get carried away (I'm like that with pretty much everything, though, not just gambling).

I used to work in a bookmakers, though, and I can see how easy it would be to end up with a problem.

Haha, nice question. I had to ask my friends what they actually thought about me for this one. They said that they think I am highly addicted. I would say I am kind of. But, I keep winning, so I see no reason to stop playing!

Hmm, addicted is something that I think I can call myself. No matter what, I am always online playing some poker whenever I get the chance. I don't mean every living moment, but I mean, almost everyday I will hop on the computer to get in a game...or 100 in before I get off.

It's pretty easy to see which ones are addicted in the local casino - they just sit pumping notes into the video game machines, not even really seeming to watch what's going on.

I don't go to the casino all the time, only bet on events that really interest me and when I play online I very rarely use my own money.

Gambling is on the list of the many things I am addicted to. Moderation seems to be the key to negotiating with it. Strict discipline is the only way one can stay on top of it.

The problem with having a tendency towards addiction is that it will present itself in very sneaky ways sometimes and before you know it you have created a problem. Paying close attention to what is happening at all times will help you spot the problems before they get any bigger.

Of course, nothing will happen if you don't do something about the problem when you see it and if you aren't honest with yourself about the problem to begin with then you really have a problem.

I LOVE to play. If I had the seed money to get started I'd do it for a living. But, I have a budget and I gotta stick to it, so when I itch Really bad I go online and play as a guest at the casinos, and that helps my need to make em spin. Addicted, yea, probably so.

I love gambling and I gamble a lot, I love playing hold'em and going to casinos to gamble, does that make me an addict? I don't think so, an addict is a person who gambles compulsively without thinking rationally. I like to gamble but I'm very aware of my emotional state and I try to make decisions based on reason rather than feeling. I know my limits and I try my best to stick to them.

It depends on yourself... I took gambling as a relaxation, when ever I go to casino, just think you are in a shopping mall and gonna spend some money, no matter you lose it, you'll still feel that is not a big deal.
