These days, marriage can be a gamble. Maybe that explains why gaggles of girls are having their bachelorette parties in Atlantic City.
Before they walk down the aisle, bands of brides-to-be are walking down the Atlantic City Boardwalk for their last fling as swinging singles. With bridal parties in tow, they arrive in style, ready to party down, mostly on weekends.
One of the favored places to stay is the beachfront Tropicana Casino and Resort because of its new Cuban themed expansion known as the Quarter. The Quarter is a Las Vegas style complex that includes a wide array of shopping, dining and nightlife options all under one roof. There is also a top notch spa, bluemercury, to make the girlfriend getaway complete.
Although there are no tailor made packages for bachelorettes, groups can customize their own itineraries including piling into overnight accommodations at the attached Havana Tower. While choosing the right guy is never a sure bet, for some brides, a visit to Atlantic City could be one way to hit the jackpot.
Standard midweek hotel packages at Tropicana from Sept 4th through October 31st range from $140.00 to $243.00 per room with some extras included.
Atlantic City is about a two and a half hour drive without traffic from New York City. Academy and Greyhound buses leave from Port Authority. For more on Bus Packages call 1-888-275-1212 Option # 1.
